Treat learning a new language like working with a series of building blocks, whether it’s reaching a goal you’ve set and adding another or breaking down long German words into smaller sections. Speed up your vocabulary acquisition as well by making flashcards and creating memory games and word hooks. As your German knowledge improves, speak it and listen to it as much as you can. Watch German movies and TV with subtitles to start with and then without, and tune in to German radio and music.
