You can download class materials for free and use them at any time. After each class, a quiz is also available to download. Use this to practice what you have learned in class and keep your skills fresh. At certain CEFR levels, downloadable worksheets created by Lingoda teachers are also available.
When a class starts you are introduced to the other students and your teacher introduces themselves. During the class, you have the opportunity to interact as much or as little as you feel comfortable doing. Any lesson material is recapped at the end and personalized feedback is given. During the class, you’ll speak and listen and maybe engage in some role-play or debate. The lesson may also include some grammar exercises. Individual classes are available if you prefer.
You need a desktop or laptop computer with a microphone, a stable internet connection, and access to Zoom. The software for this video conferencing is free to download. Depending on where you are studying, you may also find headphones useful. We recommend checking your equipment and sound a few minutes before the lesson is due to start.
