At the start of a class, the teacher introduces themselves and the other students (there are never more than five students in a group class). Each class covers aspects such as speaking, listening, grammar, reading, writing, role-play, and debate. The more you interact in class, the faster you will progress. The lesson finishes with a recap and some feedback. If you prefer, one-to-one classes are also available.
Each class is accompanied by learning materials that can be freely downloaded and used at any time. Quizzes are also available as a fun way to keep your learning fresh. With some CEFR levels, downloadable worksheets are also available. These have been created by our Lingoda teachers to support their classes.
You need a desktop or laptop computer with a microphone, a stable internet connection, and access to Zoom. The software for this video conferencing is free to download. Depending on where you are studying, you may also find headphones useful. We recommend checking your equipment and sound a few minutes before the lesson is due to start.
