telc (The European Language Certificates) is a group of standardized language tests, developed and administered by telc, a subsidiary of the German Adult Education Association (DVV). Their tests assess language proficiency in various European languages and are recognised internationally. They are aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which ranges from A1 (beginner) to C2 (proficient) levels.

telc B1 German certificate is accepted as proof of sufficient language competence when applying for a visa, citizenship or permanent residence in Germany.

Yes. We will provide you with an e-book, which you will use in class, as self-learning and for practice exams. No additional materials are required.

The certificate will be sent to our Lingoda office, the results of which we will scan and send to you. We will then send the certificate directly to you.

Students are expected to have a good German language proficiency at B1 level before enrolling. When you enrol for the course, you are accepting responsibility for your own level of German. If students are not at a sufficient B1 level and hindering the class progression, they may be asked to leave and in that case will be provided a refund.

We can work with you to find a solution for this but we cannot guarantee any specific dates will be possible.

Lingoda Teams Exam Preparation course has a maximum of 8 students per group. We ensure that you learn in a small group of students who want to achieve a common goal.

Preparing to learn with us is simple. You need three things: a stable internet connection, a computer and the free video conferencing tool Zoom.

According to European legislation related to online purchases and services, students are entitled to cancel their subscription within 14 days (starting from the initial date of purchase) without giving any reason.

We stand behind the quality of our courses. However, should you find this course unsatisfactory for any reason, you’re entitled to a complete refund within the initial 7 days of your first class, provided you have attended all your scheduled classes until your point of cancellation. To proceed with cancellation, kindly contact us at service@lingoda.com and include a reason for cancellation (to help us improve). This right is specific to your current course booking and is limited to one use per customer. It does not affect your statutory rights of withdrawal.

There will be plenty of self-study assigned to you between classes, but the course teacher will only be available for support during class hours.
