  • Solid option for language learning

    Really good service. Solid learning material, excellent range of lesson slots, and fantastic teachers. Also there is the option of both group and private lessons. What is excellent but not promoted on their site or promotional emails is: 1) the customer service. I've asked a ton of questions and they reply quickly, politely and with full answers. 2) the post-lesson training options which includes flash cards. Q & A and - most of all - AI chat which not only allows you to practice but also provides feedback throughout, including This feedback includes corrections, alternative suggestions and explanations for the feedback. I have yet to try private lessons but I will. You don't *need* Lingoda to learn a language but I find it an excellent addition - primarily for the reasons I joined: aural and verbal immersion - and my comprehension has improved dramatically. It also forces you to get over the fear factor of speaking in front of others and of making mistakes. That's not to say it's perfect. Lesson packages are discounted but if you want to top up with extra lessons before your monthly subscription renews then no discount applies. Each lesson is €12.99 no matter how many you buy despite lessons dropping to €9.49 or €7.65 for a 12 and 24 subscriptions respectively. Also, if you wanted to swap group lessons for private then it is on a 3-1 ratio and quite a bit higher than the cost of a private lesson package. That said, I am very happy with the course. It's not essential but if you have the disposable income then it's a very worthwhile investment – certainly more beneficial than spending the money on takeaways and Temu!

    I love using Lingoda as a supplement to another app or two I use to learn French! Lingoda has short lessons that briefly, but clearly explain the grammar that will be reviewed in each lesson. They provide a vocabulary list and a pdf file of the material to review both before and after the class is over, with notes the instructor has written. This very same file is used during the class. The class is highly focused on speaking, which I do not get in any of my other apps!!! The instructors do SOME teaching, but frequently, their focus is more on pronunciation and the whole conversational aspect of the class, rather than actively instructing. They will assist with understanding concepts and they also revert to English if it is necessary to get a point across, but a good 90% of the class is in French. I also like the feedback they provide after the class, with some instructors recommending outside learning resources to help build and improve skills. I feel like Lingoda has given me confidence to actually speak in the target language and useful information that I have already been able to utilize in real-world situations (cafes, grocery stores, transit, work, etc).

    The Lingoda German program is very well-organized, and brings together language learners and teachers from throughout the world. They have designed useful lessons for students at all levels, and they understand and value the importance of exposing students to native speakers. The teachers are diverse but all helpful. The online dimension is fascinating: German teachers in Latin America, Hungarian IT workers in German-speaking Switzerland, and so on. It all would have been impossible a few years ago, and I'm pleased to be part of it.

    The teachers are generally really excellent. I used customized private lessons quite a bit in order to cover more in one class than a normal class - and the teachers really helped me get the most out of those classes. they bring excellent recommendations for how to improve and practice on your own, and they are great at getting me speaking and understanding the content of the class. i once had a teacher that was not great, and lingoda refunded me for the class and were very professional and kind about it. the website can be a little clunky when you want to practice on your own (using the practice materials they provide), but not too bad. expensive, but certainly worth your money!

  • That One-Stop-Shop for Online Language Learning You Wanted

    Lingoda is just what I wanted when I set out to find a language course online. Fully online, bookable lessons, practice in between. It covers a LOT of material, too. But, even though it gives you lots to develop with, the lessons are each VERY simple and easy to learn. So, it strikes a balance (very hard to do I imagine) between a lot you can learn and step-by-step progress. I'm really happy with Lingoda. I'd recommend it to anyone.

  • You can download all Language Sprint rules here. Please familiarise yourself with them. You need to follow all the Language Sprint rules as well as Lingoda’s T&Cs in order to earn your cashback.

  • You can learn English and German from A1 to C1, French, Spanish and Business English from A1 to B2. Italian is only available for A1.

    Complete a placement test and find out your level.

    Change your level at any time during the Language Sprint if you find it too easy or difficult or if you’ve completed a level. This will not affect your refund eligibility.

  • Places in the Sprint Promotion are limited, so you should reserve your place well in advance. The closing date for entries is July 21st, 2026, 09:59 (CET). All participants will receive their credits when payment for month 1 is received (so classes can be booked in advance for a smooth start on July 27th, 2026, the start date of the Lingoda Sprint Promotion).

  • You must attend the agreed number of classes within each Sprint Promotion month by following the contest rules set out in the Terms and Conditions.

    A Sprint Promotion month is defined as follows:

    Month 1 – from 27. July 2026 (00:00) to 25. August 2026. (23:59)

    Month 2 – from 26. August 2026 (00:00) to 24. September 2026. (23:59)

  • No worries! Sprint is the ultimate language challenge, and timing is everything. If you need a little more time to gear up, there’s always another Sprint on the horizon: be the first to know when registrations for the next one open by signing up here.

  • The Language Sprint is designed to be a challenge and push your boundaries! Depending on your motivation it might feel hard or not. But thousands of students who succeeded before will testify that the effort is worth it for the language skills – and 14.000 of them earned the cashback.

  • Teachers at Lingoda are experienced professionals who love to teach. They are qualified, native-level speakers from all over the world. They will teach you versatile language skills and cultural insights into different social and workplace situations.

  • You can download all course materials for free from your account. No additional materials or textbooks are required. Plus, Lingoda offers homework and a quiz after your lessons, so you can keep practising.

  • If it’s due to confirmed technical issues on Lingoda’s side, the class will still count towards your Language Sprint. Once we have confirmation that the fault lies with Lingoda, we will update your account and refund your class credit. Please note, you can only use the refunded credit after the challenge ends. Using it during the Language Sprint (e.g. 16 classes in Month 2 of the Sprint instead of 15 classes) will result in you no longer being eligible for a cashback.

    If you missed the class due to problems on your side, you will not be refunded the class credit nor are you eligible for the cashback.

    You can, of course, continue taking your Language Sprint classes and developing your language skills!

  • After the Language Sprint ends, The Student Team will check if you’re eligible for a refund. This first part can take up to 2 weeks. If you qualify, we will send you your cashback (50% of the total amount you paid for the Sprint or the Super Sprint) to the same payment method you used to pay for the Language Sprint. Please note you can also choose to receive class credits of a higher value instead of money and continue learning (30 classes for Sprint, 60 classes for Super Sprint). This second part, the refund itself, can take up to 4 weeks. So in total, the process can take approximately 40-45 days.

  • You can join the Language Sprint as long as you never had an active Lingoda subscription before. Existing students can participate in the Language Sprint, but are automatically excluded from the rewards (cashback or free credits). Alternatively, you can choose one of our more intense monthly packages (i.e. 20 or 40 classes per month).
